Following my design for the Izzy Lou Capelet and Scarf last year, I've designed a cabled Hat/beanie and mittens. Once again I've used BWM Classic 8 ply as it is perfect for the cables. "Izzy Lou" references my paternal grandmother who gave me my first experience of feminist ideas.

Requirements:

• 1 x 200g Bendigo Woollen Mills Classic 8 ply (Pattern uses about 150g for both Hat/beanie and mitts)
• 4.00 mm circular needle 60 cm long (or straight needles)
• 4.50 mm circular needle 60 cm long (or straight needles) 
• 1x cable needle, stitch holders, 2 stitch markers, scissors, yarn needle
