Meet Joey the Firefighter Koala €“ a brave baby koala who fights fires to save the homes of his friends. The finished koala ends up approximately 12cm tall when sitting down (including Hat/beanie) using similar yarn and hook size. Thinner yarn and a smaller hook size will produce a smaller koala, and vice versa.
Gauge is not important - just make sure the stitches are tight enough so tHat/beanie the stuffing doesn't show through.
The pattern uses UK terminology.
Requirements: 8ply Cotton
Head, body, arms, legs, outer ears: GlacierÂ
Body, arms: French Navy
Inner ears, jacket, Hat/beanie: Snow
Nose: Noir
Jacket, Hat/beanie: Daffodil
Note: you will need to use a small amount of yarn for each of the colours, less than 1 full ball
3mm crochet hook, yarn needle, polyester fiberfill stuffing, stitch marker or piece of scrap yarn to mark the start of each round, black thread to embroider eyes.
